Do you ever feel like every time you sign on to Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram that someone has announced their engagement? Or perhaps, you are that person who pins the photos of the bridal hair styles, bridesmaids dresses, or centerpiece ideas on your Pinterest board entitled The Future Mrs. or Someday. And dont think that I have forgotten about you, gentlemen. You pretend not care as you scroll over those pictures on your News Feed, but admit it, some of you do stop and think about your own future wedding.
Of course, colored stones/gems present a great way to incorporate some color into your wedding day look, so don't shy away from blues, pinks, yellows - you name it.
In the United States, prior to the Great Depression, it was commonplace that the woman received and wore a wedding ring during the wedding ceremony while only 15 percent of wedding ceremonies included rings for the husband and the wife. By approximately 1950, however-and largely as a result of improved economic conditions and marketing by the jewellery industry in the United States-two-ring ceremonies had become the norm and 80 percent of married couples exchanged rings at the ceremony as a sign of their mutual eternal love.
